BRIEF COMPANY HISTORY:
Cut@Home is located in the epicenter of the crafting industry - Utah! We are a fast growing family owned company nestled in the beautiful Wasatch Mountains southeast of Salt Lake City. Cut@Home was founded in 2002 as an informative website about Scrapbook Dies, then became a retail store shortly thereafter because of customer interest to purchase the dies we were spotlighting. With the creation of nesting dies, embossing folders, and newly designed universal die cutting & embossing machines, Cut@Home quickly became the largest die cutting & card making supplies store online providing ALL brands of dies and die-cutting machines.  We quickly realized our customers were wanting paper and embellishments to go with their dies and added a good selection of those products as well. We then added rubber stamps due to the increasing demand for stamps to match your dies.

In 2008 Cut@Home was awarded by Spellbinders Paper Arts the "Spellbinders Web Retailer of the Year".  In 2009 Quickutz Inc. BACKGROUND: I am blessed to be married to the love of my life, my husband Ron, who is my biggest cheerleader. My idea of a good time is hanging out with Ron, my sons and daughters, and spoiling my granddaughters. My family is the biggest blessing in my life. A home body at heart, I enjoy reading and doing home improvements. I enjoy living in Sandy, Utah which is at the base of the Wasatch Mountains. I do feel the lure of the sea calling my name, so Ron and I are looking to buy a second home on the beach in Southern California. When I feel like getting out a bit, Ron and I enjoy traveling together, dinner, art, the theater and live music - all things beautiful! I enjoy teaching an adult Sunday School class in my church and hope to one day serve a full time mission. Originally from the east coast, I have spent the last 30 years in "western" civilization and love it! I am also a partner in another craft company, Ammees Babies, which sells ready to crochet hemstitiched baby blanket kits.
 
POSITION IN COMPANY & DUTIES: It is my privilege to have the best business partners on earth - my oldest son Dustin and his wife Janeth. Along with being a co-owner, I am in charge of operations, which include buying and managing all the products, vendor relations, website management and am basically the eyes and ears of Cut@Home. I have been involved in many different areas of business, and I can honestly say having a family business is the best time in business I have ever had.  We are currently in our sixth year of owning and operating Cut@Home and are looking forward to many more years in the crafting industry!

NAME: Dustin & Janeth

BACKGROUND: Janeth and I currently reside in Draper, Utah and love living close to the mountains. We have been married for seven years and have two daughters, Shaylee and Alyee, who bring us lots of joy and happiness. Although our daughters takes up most of our time keeping them entertained, we do like to go out to dinner, visit Mexico (Janeth's parents live there), exercise, and hang out with family. We also love doing service in our church and community. I had the great opportunity to do a service mission for 2 years in La Paz, Bolivia. Janeth served in a program called the "Perpetual Education Fund" that helps individuals get funding to go to college. Janeth graduated from Brigham Young University in Family Home Living Sciences and I graduated from the University of Utah in Exercise & Sports Science. So you could say we are rivals for those of you who know UTAH vs BYU rivalry! Upon graduation my mom, Janeth and I all had difficulty finding employment. My mom was single with 3 boys still at home and Janeth and I were recently married with no money. It was then that we decided to have a family business and purchased Cut@Home. We have never looked back! Some say they could never work with family, but WE LOVE IT! We never imagined owning a online scrapbooking company, and it has been quite the experience. We have grown to admire and love working in the crafting industry. In fact Janeth has started her own crafting videos channel called Crazy Manualidades and blog where she does different crafts in Spanish!

POSITION IN COMPANY & DUTIES: Co-Owners and Partners with Marcie. Janeth now works part-time for Cut@Home as she has her dream job of being a full-time mother. She comes to the office to visit and help out on occasion with operations and shipping. My duties in the company are a bit random as I like to do a little of everything. I take care of the website maintenance, search engine optimization & advertising, and, my personal favorite, implementing strategies for company growth.

NAME: Tauna

BACKGROUND: I currently reside in Riverton, UT where I have lived for the past 17 years.  I am married to a wonderful man who supports me in all that I do.  We have 6 children - the oldest is 21 and currently serving a mission in California, twins that are 19, a 14, 12 and our youngest is 10.  Needless to say, they keep us very busy.  When I am not working at Cut@Home, I am teaching piano to 22 students and enjoy spending time serving in my church.  I enjoy reading, music, and being outdoors when the weather is nice.  I enjoy scrapbooking when I have those extra moments of quiet time. 

POSITION IN COMPANY & DUTIES: Shipping and Inventory Manager. I have been working for Cut@home for four years and I think that it is the best job ever!  I oversee all of the orders that come into our office. I make sure the orders are shipped out without errors and quickly as possible.

NAME: Carrie

BACKGROUND: I have been married to my husband Randy for 29 years. We have our own trucking business which includes only one truck! My husband is the owner/operator and I am basically the bookkeeper.  I have 3 fabulous kids: Jason-26 who is in Accounting in San Fransisco, Stacy-24 who has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, married to Brian, and gave me my first grandchildren, Claire and Jared; and last, but not least, Trevor-2 who is serving in the National Guard. I grew up in Sandy, Utah, the oldest of 10 children. I have 7 brothers and 2 sisters. I now reside in Riverton, Utah. I love serving in my church as the chorister. My husband and I love to scuba dive! We love to travel, camping, boating, watch movies, and get together with our family for fun activities! My personal hobbies are photography (underwater included), scrapbooking (of course!), tole painting, gardening, baking, and sewing. I will try just about any thing!

POSITION IN COMPANY & DUTIES: Customer Service Manager and Education Director. I started working for Cut@Home in May of 2009 and LOVE IT! I am the one that you talk to when you call, and that usually emails you when you have emailed questions or have a problem. I have to say that we have the best customers! Our customers are AWESOME!!!! I also head up our awesome design and blog team and do some designing and blogging myself! I am learning new things every day as I hear about the fun projects that you are creating with our products.



NAME: Stacy

BACKGROUND: I graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and was married shortly after I graduated. I have been married for 4 years and have two beautiful children. Our little girl is in her terrible two's and our little boy was born in March. They keep me on my toes and are the highlight of our lives. My incredible husband is leagues ahead of me in ambition since he is finishing up his Ph.D in Organic Chemistry. We should be moving sometime in the next year after the dissertation is endured. I am enjoying being a mom at home and being a piano teacher to my 10 students, which is incredibly rewarding. I love to hike, camp, wakeboard, sing, watch movies, clean, read, and, of course, craft.  I was born and raised in Utah, so scrapbooking is in my blood. I love living next to the mountains, but I am a huge fan of vacations and love to lounge on the beach! I can't wait to see where we move to in the future.

POSITION IN COMPANY & DUTIES: Designer/Blogger. I just came on the team as a designer in May 2012, so I get the fun part of working! Having my sweet and wonderful mother as the other designer is too much fun and we love bouncing ideas off of each other. I am also the other blogger showing you the fun new products! I love the customer's input on the blog and love to hear what is being made by all the readers.

NAME: Doug & Heather

BACKGROUND: We have been married for just over 10 years and have lived in Eagle Mountain, Utah for four of those years. We have 4 sweet children. Trista (8), Turner (5), Ellana (2) and and Brexton who was born in February.  Heather is an amazing stay-at-home mom who loves her kids and serving with the Young Women in her church. She loves to scrapbook and has been doing it since she was a little girl with her mother. Doug has been teaching art since 2007 and has the wonderful opportunity to teach high school students how to be creative and love art. Doug graduated with an associates degree from Snow College then transferred to Weber State University earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree specializing in Drawing, Printmaking, and Bookarts. As a family we love to take walks or ride our bikes around the neighborhood, go camping, watch movies, and just about anything else that keeps us together as a family.

NAME: Alexis

BACKGROUND: I live in Brigham City, Utah, with my husband Ron. We have been married for sixteen years and have six beautiful children: Sabrina, Sierra, Byron, Benjamin, David and Bella. We love living in Utah surrounded by beautiful mountains and all the outdoor activities. I attended college in Utah and Hawaii for a couple of years studying commercial art and then I met my husband realized he was my future. I am a stay at home mom with lots of hobbies and interests. I run half marathons and do Crossfit everyday. I also love to scrapbook. I get together weekly with friends to stay caught up on my family albums. I am also part of a group of ladies that exchange cards and recipes.
