Create Your Own Envelopes With The Scor-Envi!
If you are an avid card maker, you will really appreciate being able to create your own envelopes with the Scor-Envi from Scor-Pal! This little gadget is awesome, and it works right along with the Scor-Pal V.3 as shown in the photo.
The Scor-Envi is designed to be used with the latest version of the Scor-Pal (inch version) and helps you to create 12 different size envelopes including the most used A2 envelope and lots of square envelopes too. A chart is printed on the tool for handy guidance. If you like to do embossed grids and diagonal scoring patterns this is the perfect tool. Envelopes and diagonal scoring is now a breeze!
Please note: this tool requires 1/4″ grooves to make the standard size envelopes, so it will only work with the latest version of the Scor-Pal NOT the earliest version.
I did some playing around and found that you can also use it with the original Scor-Pal, but you will have to make adjustments as to how you do it. I will show you how I made that compromise in the video below, however, I have since ordered myself the newer V.3 as it will be much more convenient and I will not have to think about how I can finagle the measurements. If you already have the V.3, you will still find the video helpful, but you won’t have to make any adjustments for the measurements!
This is a brilliant little invention that is very inexpensive at $6.99, and will pay for itself in no time as you can make your own custom envelopes with the paper or card stock you have on hand! Now you can finally have perfectly matching envelopes for your hand crafted cards!
Thanks and Happy Scrappin’!
