Tim Holtz Tools, Tips And Techniques!

Like me, many of you go crazy with Tim Holtz tools, tips and techniques. Let’s face it, he is fabulous at what he does! He makes everything he does look so easy! I was thrilled this Christmas when my son gave me Tim’s books-A Compendium of Curiosities Vol. One and Two.  They are full of fantastic tools and step by step techniques that are amazingly simple, yet give incredible detail to items which can be used to embellish a wide variety of projects.  I seriously can’t wait to get some free time to play!

tim holtzSome of the tools he uses are pretty basic such as stamps, Texture Fades embossing folders and dies, which of course are of his own design. Add to these, Distress inks, Distress Markers, Grungeboard, Kraft Glassine and blending tools, amongst other items, and you open up a whole new world of limitless techniques and ideas! You can find many of Tim’s products that he uses in the books right HERE on our website!

We carry a variety of Tim’s Sizzix Bigz dies, Movers and Shapers, Texture Fades, Distress Inks, Distress Markers, Grungeboard, Kraft Glassine, Paper, and Eclips Cartridges. There is something for every Tim Holtz fan!

You will find tips on distressing, blending, water stamping, inking grunge, rusted grunge, inking and stamping masks, reflective imagery, enameled metals and so on. Lots and lots of fun! For more information about his books, you can visit his blog HERE. He will also start posting product reviews starting Jan 2nd which will be a lot of great information for the upcoming year!

I’m sure you are looking forward to seeing fresh new ideas in the new year with all of the newest products getting ready to be unveiled in a few weeks. I know I am! CHA is only a couple weeks away, so we will be finding out soon! Stay tuned next week as our Spellbinders Blog Frenzy begins on Jan 2nd! Whoo-Hoo!

Thanks and Happy Scrappin’!
