AuthentiqueWe are so proud to be introducing Authenique Paper Pads to our website! Authentique is the hottest new brand in scrapbooking paper companies. Founded in 2011, they  are best known for their heavyweight textured paper. Their style is vintage with a modern twist and are made to appeal to crafters on all levels! See HERE for their latest lines!

Authentique come in 6×6 paper pad, 12×12 collection kits and a Craft Assortment kit. The 6×6 scrapbook paper pads includes 2 of each design that are double-sided with coordinating solids! The Authentique 12×12 scrapbook paper collection kits include paper, die-cuts, stickers, and more! We visited their booth at CHA and were delighted with what we saw, so we just HAD to bring them on! We know you will be just as pleased.

Here are some of the projects they had on display in their booth:

I have also included our little video showing you all of the paper lines that they had on display there. Hopefully, this will give you a better idea of how pretty there designs are They are really gorgeous!

I also love this paper, but you need to check your ENGLISH! Just above the video clip you say, “Hopefully, this will give you a better idea of how pretty there designs are” You need to use THEIR!!! And you also need to use a period at the end of that sentence. I know this may be picky, but we ALL need to use our English language correctly or Spanish will take over. Thank you for putting up with me!!!!

  • I guess that’s what I get for multi-tasking while doing the blog! Thanks for correcting me!

  • Very nice paper!!!! It has a little vintage in it and kind of represents a little bit of My Mind’s Eye or Teresa collins.

  • Gonzalo

This was a great post and I love the paper that you advertised on there. I haven’t seen any of this in the scrapbooking store that I frequent but I will keep looking for it now that I have seen some samples of it here first. Thank you for the work you put into this article and if you are a woman and you aren’t multi tasking while you do this you aren’t busy enough.

The thing(s) that are obvious benefits to using these types of scrapbooking template pieces are 1) you can actually give your scrapbook some depth. I saw a scrapbook where the artist gave her book a 3 dimensional look because it had layers. And 2) the designs of some of the signs are vintage. The retro type of style is better than what I’ve seen available in clip art CD’s or websites.

  • Kimberli

What cool art work this is. These bits and pieces of scrapbook art pieces are very creative. There is lots of diversity in terms of design. I would not mind buying a bundle of miscellaneous art styles at discount prices. Thank you for offering these packages of paper clip art.

  • Jessie

These types of arts and crafts are excellent not only for scrapbooking, but also for creating highly personalized greeting cards for the holidays as well as any other special occasion. A personally and elaborately designed greeting card would go over really well if you were to give it along with a wedding gift or a baby shower. Great stuff, indeed. Thanks for the presentation.

  • Linda

This is so cool you can cut your own pads at home so that you can make people very unique gifts that will means something to them. You have a great blog here and the more I learn about this stuff the more I like the idea of purchasing one of these cutters. Thank you for putting the information that you have out here, keep up the good work.

  • Justine

I have to admit, these template pieces look very commercial and very impressive. These packets remind me of Sizzix Originals Die – BOOKPLATES GELLY-O LARGE. With these, you can easily embellish and enhance any creative task with the first dies developed for the original Sizzix Machine. Sizzix Originals dies feature steel rule construction to make amazing shapes for any occasion. It uses a special printer and it is more expensive.

  • You’re right! It is very similar in quality as well! Authentique paper is high quality and has designs for every style!

  • No need to look further! We carry the latest Authentique paper on our website!

  • Absolutely! Layering is in! You can add a lot of visual interest when layering and give your pages and cards more depth.

  • Embellishments really add to a layout or card, and it is all right here in one kit! If you are not sure of what to put with the paper, these kits make your choices simple!

  • Most definitely! A handmade card is always a special keepsake when made with love (and great paper)!

  • If you are not into paper crafting yet, don’t delay! You are missing out on a very personal, rewarding hobby that can bring joy not only to you while creating, but to those to whom you give your creations to!

  • These are all projects made from paper, but used in different ways. Die cutting with steel rule dies is just one way you can use Authentique paper. There are endless possibilities!

  • Wanda

Using die cutters for cutting paper is a great idea and I wish that I had thought of it before I made last years Christmas gifts. I will be using it this year that is for sure because this is a really cute idea and I know that everyone will like them. I just have to figure out a way to make some masculine ones as well because they need note pads too.

  • Glenn

So this must be how they make all the fun pads that you see in the stores. I’d love to have a die that I could set to cut out any design I could think of so that I could make things like this. I’m thrilled to have stumbled upon your site because I love this stuff and I’ll be saving it so that I can return later to see what is new.

  • Absolutely! Men need notepads, and there are a lot of great masculine products on the market that can help you with your masculine projects! Tim Holtz products are a great place to start looking.

  • Wonderful! This is a great place to start getting the products you need to take your creativity to a higher level! There is no limits to what you can do!

  • Samuel

I love those letters you have a picture of on the page and we have a coffee bar at our church that I would like to have letters like that in there to advertise the coffee bar and make it look great. You have some really good ideas on you blogs, I have read most of them and have enjoyed everyone of them. Thank you for your post, great job.

  • Great! I’m so glad that you have enjoyed our blogs! You can find wood letters either online, or at craft stores, but I find mine at a craft wood shop near my home. They are made from 2″ wood so they are free standing. Use Mod Podge to adhere your traced and cut paper to the wood and decorate at will! They are a lot of fun to do.
