Lifestyle Crafts/Quickutz CHA Booth!
Today I have some great products to show you that we saw at the Lifestyle Crafts/Quickutz CHA booth! Not only do they have great dies for scrapbooking layouts and cards, but for alternative projects like what you see on the board below.
If you didn’t notice the beautiful doily envelope inserts, let me give you a closer look!
If punches strike your fancy, then here is a preview of their new punches being released!
If you thought that was cool, then you will love these new dies that are being released throughout the next few months! I have a doily fetish, so I already have the new doilies on my Wish List for sure!
Some other fabulous products on my Lifestyle Crafts radar are part of the new Goosebumpz Embossing Folders. I adore making cards with embossing folders because they give such beautiful detail without really any effort! I just can’t seem to have enough!
Now, I just have to show you the new Shape “N Tape! If you like working with adhesive tape, you will go nuts over this! You receive five different designs in 6 x 12” sheets in each package. With Shape ‘N Tape you have the freedom to cut out any shape using cutting dies or scissors, giving you unlimited options to shape your creativity. Pretty cool! See all 10 of the colors HERE.
Speaking of cool, the Lifestyle Crafts team are Rockin’! On Sunday night, after the show closed for the day, they had a party at the place they were staying at and invited all of their retailers and designers. They had J Dawgs, chips and salsa, soda and other party food. What’s a J Dawg you ask? Well, if you have ever been to Provo, Utah and have been to a BYU (Brigham Young University) game, or been on their campus, you might know, but for those who don’t (which I actually didn’t), it is basically a grilled hot dog with “special sauce”.
I have 2 kids and a son-in-law who are BYU grads and I am in Provo approximately once a week, but I did not know what a J Dawg was until the party! My kids had a great laugh that I had to go clear to California to have my first J Dawg!
Anyway, the party was great! We met retailers and designers from all over the world! Four delightful women from Denmark and store owners from South Africa and Singapore were some that we got to talk with, but it was the Karaoke that was the highlight of the night! It was hard to get the mike from Theron, who seems to be the Karaoke king!
Here is Theron and Malarie with Marcie doing business at the show:
Here are me and Theron hamming it up at the party!
I also had the privilege of doing a duet with Spencer. Remember Sony & Cher’s “I Got You Babe”? Well, they were MUCH better than we were, but it was fun!
Thanks to the L.C. team we had a really great time at the party!
Just for fun, I put together a layout using a mix of dies, but most of them are Quickutz. I love their alphabets! I can’t even tell you how many of them I have, but I use them ALL the time.
