4th Of July Decor Using Bo Bunny Anthem Paper!
You all know that I love paper crafting, but my real passion is wood crafts, and so I wanted to share the 4th of July decor I made using Bo Bunny Anthem paper. This project combined both loves and was easy. All you need are the following:
Wood letters (I used 2″ thick, 10″ tall letters bought from The Wood Connection in Murray, UT)
12 x 12 paper
acrylic paint or stain for sides and back of letters
2- 1″ sponge brushes
embellishments of choice.
I sanded the letters with 120 grit sandpaper before tracing the letters on the paper and painting the sides and backs of the letters. Cut the letters with scissors (that is the least fun part), then used ModPodge to adhere the paper to the front of the letters. Once dry, I put 2 coats of ModPodge over the top to seal the paper. I used glossy ModPodge, but matte would work just as well.
Once dry, I used just a few different embellishments on the letters to finish them off. I now have a fun, new patriotic decoration to spruce up my home!
If you want to do a fun, easy decor project, this is it! You can create any desired work art by purchasing the desired letters!
Thanks & Happy Scrappin’!
