Cut@Home Blog - Scrapbooking & Card Making Ideas

As many of you know, I LOVE GLITTER!!!!! The more sparkly, the better, the happier, the more perfect. LOVE! I saw the new Silhouette Glitter and I got that, you know, crafty-sort-of-excited! I got it in the mail, and I can tell you all that it is B-E-A-utiful! The colors are vibrant, the glitter is bold, and it is “practically perfect in every way.” See, I told you that I love glitter.

Alright folks, so I’ve had this candle lying around my house for the last 5+ years. It’s been through 3 moves and nearly beaten to death. It’s looking a little terrible, so I had this brilliant idea (after Carrie told me about paring glitter with scor-tape instead of glue…huge thank you). I will cover my candle in tape and decorate it with glitter. The main reason I love this, is that i can take the tape off later, and match my new glitter with whatever season I am decorating for. You could also go a little more permanent and use Mod Podge to get some cute shapes on your candle. Think of the possibilities!!! (Have some baby wipes or a wet paper towel to get the unwanted off.) Just keep looking for more and more glitter projects from me and my new boyfriend (glitter).

I wanted mine to look like candy corn and Halloween! I love the accent that it adds to my shelf!
