Bon Voyage Sizzix Pro Suitcase Treat Box!
I know I have said many times before how much I love the Big Shot Pro Machine and my Bon Voyage Sizzix Pro Suitcase Treat Box is just one example of why I love this machine! I totally love making the darling boxes and bags that you can do with it! If you are not familiar with the Big Shot Pro, it is a larger version of the Sizzix Big Shot and will cut pretty much ANY manufacturer die. It’s wonderful and I love using the Bigz Pro Dies!
This die may look intimidating, but trust me, it took only a few minutes to assemble once I had it cut and the Scor-Tape in place. All of the pieces for the suitcase are on one Pro die. The tag which I tied to the handle is from Little B, but worked well with my project.
All of the score lines are automatically done at the same time the die is cut, so all you have to do is fold along the score lines, place your adhesive where the instructions tell you and assemble! One thing I will tell you is to make sure you insert the handle first thing! I made several of these boxes and forgot to do that on the first couple and had to peel up the one end to put it in. DUH! I have included some assembly photos for you to get an idea, but the instructions are pretty self explanatory for this die.
Once I had assembled the box, I cut small embellishments from the 8 x 8 paper pad to adhere to the box, which were perfect size. I stamped the saying on the tag, inked around the edges and tied it to the handle with twine. Fill with candy or other treats and you’re on your way!
Here is my list of supplies used for this project:
658488 Sizzix Bigz Pro Die Box, Suitcase
Tim Holtz Crowded Attic Paper Pad
IC0310 Graphic 45 Come Away With Me 3
4500923 Graphic 45 Come Away With Me 8 x 8 Paper Pad
202 Scor-Tape 1/4″
HF214 Hero Arts Shadow Ink Cup O’ Joe
100386 Little B Tags Dies
I thought the suitcase was perfect for this blog post, as this is my final post for Cut@Home. I am moving on to other things and will miss showing all of you the fun things that you can create with paper and dies! Oh, don’t worry, I will still be scrapbooking and making cards, but just won’t be posting them. You will still be able to get lots of inspiration from our other designers on our design team!
So, for my final post I would like to say Bon Voyage to all you wonderful crafters! Maybe our cyber travels will bring us together again someday!
Thanks & Happy Scrappin’!
