Wedding season is here and what a better way to use our Silhouette Cameo than for all those wedding cards. Today I am dusting off the cameo and getting to work using a card that can be bought directly from the Silhouette Studio. Combining this cutting file with a beautiful and easy water color background, the effect gives this card an elegant feel.
The color was inspired by the bride’s color scheme of teal and pink. This card can also be easily given for a bridal shower too!
Let’s get started.

Heartfelt Creations has a new collection Majestic Morning Collection, and with Valentines right around the corner I wanted to make something for my daughter’s teacher. I did not want her to be “my valentine” but simply an appreciation for all her hard work. This collection is simply stunning and the versatility in the paper pack allowed me to make a gift bag with my Silhouette Cameo.
I began by selecting a 12×12 sheet from the Majestic Morning Paper Collection and placing that in my Silhouette Cameo. The box is from Lori Whitlock 3D Treat Bag. Let me make a note that this

What celebrates the beginning of the holiday season like an early Christmas card? You don’t even have to be holiday crazy like I am (yes, I already have my tree up)! I made this for my wonderful parents who just bought their Christmas plane tickets and we could hardly contain our excitement, so we sent them a little holiday cheer.
First off, the thing that makes this card is the Decorated Reindeer Stamp from Deep Red Stamps. I bought it because it was adorable, but let me tell you, it is far more adorable when you use it. I think I

Night night, Sleep tight, don’t let the bed bugs bite–Heather and I have been wanting to use these sleeping photos for a long time because they are so cute and Heather found the perfect page layout for them. Isn’t it funny how no matter how naughty your kids are through out the day when you look at them sleeping at the end of the day they can just melt your heart away again. We have to laugh at this one of Trista who fell asleep on the bathroom sink, now that is called TIRED!
This layout all started with Graphic 45

My daughter had a double birthday party last weekend and we needed a gift idea for two four year olds. What four year old doesn’t like candy??? I know none. Therefore, I let Claire choose some candy and we made it into a candy roll gift. It’s funny how I felt like I didn’t have a lot of time to shop for a present, but I sure had the time to make these…and it probably took a little longer. It was fun! I got my feet wet with some of the new spellbinders and I’m loving them. I’m a little

Its getting close to that time of the year again when it starts to cool off and there is a smell of fall in the air so why not do a Halloween scrapbook page. Heather has been in Halloween mode the last few days, I don’t know if it is because we got this fantastic Halloween paper from Bo Bunny or because she is just seeing Halloween stuff already in the stores but we are in full Halloween mode in our house already.
Like I have already said, this page starts off with great paper but Heather bought these doilies a

I am loving all these adorable stamps that are coming out this year!! Seriously, I never thought I’d be a huge stamper, but I’m having more and more fun with each one, and Penny Black’s Mimi’s Farm is no exception. It’s adorable! The minute I saw it I knew the exact project I wanted to do (which never happens) and I couldn’t wait to get started!
You only need four things to make these cute little animals. An ink pad, the stamp, and markers, and scissors. Pretty easy/basic necessities. I really wanted to take myself down memory lane and make a

If you find yourself in a bind and need a birthday, get well, or really any other card, here is a last minute card idea for you that can literally take you 2-3 minutes to make.I ordered this card making set from Hero Arts a few months ago thinking it was something else but it comes in handy when we have forgot to pick up a card. it comes with the main card and all you have to do is choose one of four stamps it comes with to stamp on the paper.
Or if that is way too simple you

I had a blast making this Gilded Gate 2 birthday card! Not only did I get to use this beautiful die, but since I used several Spellbinders Card Creator dies, I was able to use my Layer Creator which is AWESOME! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT!!! It really helps to perfectly position the Card Creator die cuts on your card with more control so you don’t accidentally stick your mat where you don’t want it.
I kept the color scheme pretty simple, and only used 3 colors of cardstock for the card, for a total of 4 sheets of 8 1/2

Ok Ya’ll, Let’s talk about this Penny Black Bubble Girl Stamp! Could it be more adorable? I think not. If you have a girl, have a granddaughter, see a girl, or know a girl, that is reason enough to stamp and color this little darling ’til your hearts content. It is, in one word, adorable. Plain and simple. The American Craft Chromatix markers are, again, perfect for this stamp and taking your bubble girl to a whole new level of cute.
Let’s also talk about the new Spellbinders I used for this card. I am just loving the new stuff! LOVE

Heather and I ordered this paper stack from DCWV because we have notices that we have not really done many boy things with the blog so here is a boys dinosaur page layout that we did for our sons scrapbook. A few years back we were able to go to the Dinosaur Museum at Thanksgiving Point and we got some really cut pictures that were perfect for this page but don’t think that you have to have dino pictures because boys and dinosaurs just go together, just ask my son Turner because he was in heaven at the Dinosaur Museum.

We were celebrating our little Ellana’s third birthday so we made this card with Sizzix princess stamps because she is all about princesses at the moment. She got her princess dress, her princess cake, her princess decorations, and her princess card.
This card started as does all of our projects with well designed paper. It is amazing how good paper makes working so much easier, this paper was from DCWV from The Playtime Stack. Once we had a princess paper picked out Heather had fun with the stamp set and finished it all of with the white boarder and pearls.

Here is a summer spread that can be used for really any occasion as you get a taste of summer with Bo Bunny. This was our trip to San Diego a few years ago in October, us Utahns thought that the weather was great and we were even swimming as all the Californians looked at us funny because this was cold to them. I love the beach and if I lived near the beach I would probably be a beach bum.
Any good spread starts with a great paper and for this one we used Bo Bunny’s Key Lime paper stack.

I could totally get carried away making this darling treat bag using Sizzix Bigz Pro die Bag, Mini Grocery! I finished this one to show you, but I already have 4 more that I just have to finish putting together for some of my friends, just because I thought they were so cute and I wanted to make more.

Hey “ya’ll”! I am so excited to tell you that I made Bookmarks using the American Crafts Chromatix Markers and these puppies are AMAZING! I got this adorable Magnolia stamp and I was too intimidated by it to use it right away. I thought I’d have to be a pro-stamper to get really great results with coloring it, but you don’t! Greatest news of my life. Ok….well….maybe I exaggerated a little. Still. If you’re like me, markers aren’t your favorite thing for coloring. If you re-trace your steps, then you get a heavier color and you can tell where your coloring began, ended,

No, I didn’t misspell the title of my blog. I made my JustRite Freindship Card with JustRite Stampers new Vintage Labels Four die and Enjoy the Day Vintage Labels Four stamp set, but I actually do think it turned out just right (Wink, wink). The best part about making this card is sending it to the special friend that I made this for!
I almost gave it the title Imperial Gold Friendship Card because I used Spellbinders Imperial Gold die- Gold Corners One and the colors I chose are all gold. Trust me, I was not planning anything like either of

One of the best purchases I have made in my lifetime has been my Die Cutting Machines and some dies because I have saved so much money (well, you know what I mean) by making my own cards like these baby girl card ideas! Doing this has given me a creative outlet in my cards and scrapbook layouts and have the capability to make original cards for others. I love that and I know that all of you do too, since we share the same passion!
I made these cards mainly with Spellbinders dies and my brand new, pretty blue Sizzix

Wow it has been a busy week for my first week of summer break from teaching so Heather and I needed a quick and easy spread so we grabbed our Heartfelt Creations Sun Kissed Collection and all of the stamps that correspond to them and made this Wedding Spread. I admit to this not taking all day because sometimes we all have weeks like this one where it is difficult to do much of anything. If this is the case for you than these sets are perfect because you don’t have to think too much about whether or not your

Heather and I just got a sampler of markers from American Crafts and we both wanted to play around them so we both did some cardmaking and here is what we got in the end. on mine, I used Hero Arts Tag Collection for the most part for the stamps and used the markers to add the color, The markers were very smooth and had great transition colors so you can get the look of shadows. I also love this tag set because it has everything to finish a card, I made the flower separate from the card and added

This sweet Magnolia card features Magnolia Stamps Tilda with Little Pocket stamp. This Tilda fits me, my daughter, and grand daughter. Long blond hair, half girly-girl and half tom-boy (I was more tom-boy). I still prefer jeans and t-shirt over a dress any day of the week and if you give me flowers, please make sure the roots are attached, so I can dig in the dirt and plant them in my yard, but my girls are a little more girly girl than me.
I made this card for my sweet little grand daughter who is moving to Dallas, Texas with
