I really want you to see some of the projects that DCWV designers had on display at their DCWV CHA Summer 2013 booth. My hats off to their design team as they did a fabulous job-as usual! I especially loved the framed projects displayed on the outer walls of their booth. Some were really interesting! All of these projects were made with various Die Cuts With A View paper pads!
Let me quite blabbing here, and get started. You can also see one of Cut@Home’s owners, beautiful Janeth, who joined us on this trip. We had a blast doing the many

Make fabulous cards with Sizzix Thinlits! You can also make beautiful layouts if you are a scrapbooker. These wafer thin dies come as sets in a cute little storage envelope, which make these extremely easy to store! To view all of the Sizzix Thinlits we carry, please click HERE.
As you probably know by now, I like to keep my projects fairly simple, so I can get them done in a reasonable time frame. If I can’t complete a project within and hour or two, it may NEVER get finished! I have to get them done and out of the way

I usually like to create two page layouts to keep my scrapbooks uniform, but this time I decided to put my photos on one Horsin’ Around 12×12 scrapbook page instead of spread them over two pages, since I only had 3 photos of this occasion. As you can see, my grand kids love riding the rocking horse. They love that it actually whinnies and makes a clip-clop sound while they ride. They even know which ear to press when it stops. I hope they don’t think they can do that with a real horse, ’cause I don’t think a real

The atmosphere was just slightly spooky at the Die Cuts With A View Booth-CHA 2012! Their booth sported a Halloween theme that was definitely a treat! I think it was love at first sight for me when I saw the purple man sitting at their lit dining table, but I think he is a bit old for me as he seemed to have wasted away to bones. I personally like a little more bulk to my men.
Their booth is always delightful to walk into. They are incredibly creative in their presentation and they attract your eye with the vibrant

Summer is a busy time, so if you are looking for layout ideas, check out my easy layout using Quickutz Bloom & Grow Collection! Cutting these Cookie Cutter dies will be a little time consuming, but if you have kids or grandkids that want to help, this is a great opportunity to let them run the die cutting machine, while you do the assembly! You will want to run several colors through using the Bouquet die so you can mix & match the flowers.
That is one of the great things about dies, they are pretty kid friendly as long as

Father’s Day is this upcoming Sunday, so with the help of DCWV and Spellbinders, here is one of my Father’s Day card ideas!
MS-003-00093 DCWV Serenity Mat Stack
MS-003-00094 DCWV Serenity Solid Cardstock Mat Stack
S5-077 Spellbinders Labels Twenty-five
S4-363 Spellbinders Jewel Fantasies
Tim Holtz Idea-ology charms
I really like the Serenity Mat Stack because it is great for both genders! The floral patterns along with geometric patterns, and a neutral color pallet make it easy to pull out for creating cards on the fly!
You can get an idea here why DCWV gave the name Serenity to this stack! The metallic sheets are gorgeous!

Have you got your hands on the newest Spellbinders dies yet? Oh my goodness, they just keep getting better! Today I want to show you a peek of the Antique Frame & Accents die. Very pretty! I really like the Accents and Motifs collection. They are all so intricate and elegant. If you are using these, you will want to give yourself a little more time to work the paper from your die. Being impatient may lead to torn die cuts! I like a pointed tool, such as a Quickstik, paper piercer (careful not to poke through your paper), or

Are you ready for this? DCWV booth was incredible! Geez- What their designers can do with paper is amazing to say the least! Their new paper stacks are gorgeous pattern paper stacks with coordinating card stock stacks! I felt like I was walking through a tropical paper paradise!

See what I mean? Here are some examples of the new Paper Stacks:
I apologize that my pictures do NOT do these gorgeous papers justice! You will just have to see them in person. I can tell you right now that I will have to have them all!

Many of you are familiar with Spellbinders Impressabilities, especially if you are a card maker, but have you tried the Grand Impressabilities? These are fabulous for Scrapbookers since they will emboss/deboss almost a full 8 1/2 x 11″ sheet of paper!
The Impressabilities templates will emboss, deboss, stencil, letter press and embellish all in one product.
Impressabilities embellishment templates allows crafters to effortlessly emboss or deboss the front of your scrapbook layout or add embossed or debossed accents to pre-cut shapes and letters, creating uniquely detailed embellishments.
Using micro-tip scissors, Impressabilities can also be trimmed to create custom templates for flourishes, frames, charms

I have had more fun with the new Be Spooked and Be Stuffed Collections by Quickutz lately than I can tell you! These dies are not intended just for layouts and cards!
As you can see from my BOO wood project, I grabbed one of the DC0189-Nesting Ghosts and one of the DC0191-Bats to embellish. I have to admit that I have become a pretty simple crafter. I don’t have a lot of time to play, but I still love to craft, so I keep my projects fast and easy so I can actually complete them! If it gets to extensive,
