I am a firm believer in celebrating each holiday by itself (even though I started Christmas shopping months ago) and this year I wanted to start a Thanksgiving gratitude journal for our family to write down what they are thankful for. We are celebrating with my side of the family of which I am the oldest of 10 children. If everyone comes, which there will be a few going elsewhere, there is almost 60 of us so far and counting. I thought it would be fun to pass the journal around and see what kind of response there is. Some

If you want a beautiful background die to dress up a card or layout, then you might just want to check out Our Daily Bread Quatrefoil Pattern Die. It is a Spellbinders die co-branded with ODB that can cut beautifully embossed designs that look great on any paper crafting project. It also can be used as a stencil. It will work in most leading die cutting and embossing machines. The Quatrefoil Pattern die is 5 1/2 x 11 1/4 inches and consists of 1 die. It is PERFECT to use as a background for other dies or as the feature

I had a blast making this Gilded Gate 2 birthday card! Not only did I get to use this beautiful die, but since I used several Spellbinders Card Creator dies, I was able to use my Layer Creator which is AWESOME! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT!!! It really helps to perfectly position the Card Creator die cuts on your card with more control so you don’t accidentally stick your mat where you don’t want it.
I kept the color scheme pretty simple, and only used 3 colors of cardstock for the card, for a total of 4 sheets of 8 1/2

If you are wondering why more stars than stripes with Bo Bunny paper, its because there really are more sheets with stars than stripes, but also because my project is STARS!
I had so much fun making my USA letters with the Bo Bunny Anthem 12 x 12 paper that I decided to make this cute star decoration to go with the letters. Again, all you need are these basic items:
1″ thick wood stars (different sizes) I got my stars and the idea from The Wood Connection in Murray, UT
Paint around the edges of all the stars and the

One of the best purchases I have made in my lifetime has been my Die Cutting Machines and some dies because I have saved so much money (well, you know what I mean) by making my own cards like these baby girl card ideas! Doing this has given me a creative outlet in my cards and scrapbook layouts and have the capability to make original cards for others. I love that and I know that all of you do too, since we share the same passion!
I made these cards mainly with Spellbinders dies and my brand new, pretty blue Sizzix

This week has been a very eventful week with so many good and sad things happening so I thought I would make A Any occasion Card with Sizzix. I wanted this card to look happy and uplifting but humble and I think I captured that. I love Bo Bunny paper and the colors so I really wanted to use this paper with my card. KaiserCraft has these beautiful Die Cut Shapes with words, flowers, tags all included and I just love to use this collection with my cards. And of course I used my Big Shot Sizzix machine to cut out some Sizzix

We’re heading into wedding season which also means lots of anniversaries are celebrated as well during this time, so I thought I would share a romantic occasion card idea using Sizzix Framelits 11PK w/ Stamps Love set.
They say if your married in June, you’re a bride all your life, so why not create a card that can be a keepsake for life! After all, we make cards because we love it and we want the recipient to love it too!
You can use your own color scheme to even match the brides colors if you choose, but I really wanted to

I made a page layout design last week and I couldn’t resist making a Bo Bunny mothers day card idea this week. Bo Bunny has a beautiful paper kit called Love letters and I have used this collection pack a few times but I could not resist using it again because it has such beautiful paper and it can be used in so many ways. I started off cutting down some card stock paper to 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 and then using the Bo Bunny paper I cut a sheet down to fit on the front of my card and I used the Hero Hues

I came across this beautiful and old picture of my mom and me and my brothers and I thought this would make a great Mothers day Page Layout. My father served in the Military my whole childhood so I had the privilege to grow up overseas. This picture, I believe was taken in Europe, and so I wanted to use some products that would bring back some of those memories from my childhood. First Edition has this beautiful paper collection called Noir et Chic and it went perfectly with this black and white photo. I also used KaiserCraft collectables called 75

Who doesn’t want a Authentique Thank You card? Not only do I love using Authentique paper but I love using Spellbinders dies as well. I could’nt resist using Spellbinders Les Papillions Die for this Thank you card and Heartfelt Creations has a beautiful stamp collection so of course I couldn’t resist that either. I always use card stock for the base for my cards. I then used Authentiques 6×6 paper called Renew on the top. This paper is double sided so it all blends together really well. I used Hero Hues Chalk Ink to ink around all my corners of

Make fabulous cards with Sizzix Thinlits! You can also make beautiful layouts if you are a scrapbooker. These wafer thin dies come as sets in a cute little storage envelope, which make these extremely easy to store! To view all of the Sizzix Thinlits we carry, please click HERE.
As you probably know by now, I like to keep my projects fairly simple, so I can get them done in a reasonable time frame. If I can’t complete a project within and hour or two, it may NEVER get finished! I have to get them done and out of the way

I am planning a birthday party for my son for this weekend and I had an idea for a party favor with QuicKutz. I love this little Star Box die, it is so easy to use and it cuts out so perfectly using the Sizzix Big Shot machine. I used Authentique paper and after I cut out the die I used some scor tape around the folds to tape the folds together then I added some silver bling from Want2Scrap and I added a bow (with some bling on the bow) to the top of my box. This was so

With it being Spring Break for everyone, I wanted to make a Sring Time Card to celebrate. I Love making cards and Spellbinders really makes it easy for me with some of my favorite Dies. I started off by cutting my cardstock down to a 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 size and then folded that in half. I then used Bo Bunny paper to use with Spellbinders dies, A2 Bracket Borders One. This gave a nice border to my card. Then I used Spellbinders Les Papillions Two Die and I used the two smaller butterflies for this project. Bo Bunny

Spring is FINALLY showing its face here in Utah, and to go along with the warming weather, I wanted to share my Marianne Design butterfly card that I made to celebrate! I can never get enough butterfly dies and this one is gorgeous! I also like how big it is. It really pops on a card or layout.
I also really liked the Blossom embossing folder by Crafts Too, and it worked really well with the butterfly. I ran my A2 card through the folder first, then took my ink pad and lightly ran it over the embossed area to help

I was scrapbooking over the weekend and as I came across a recent picture of my Gandma and Granpa, and I wanted to make a delicate spellbinders layout to really capture this picture just right. So I went through all my things and i could not narrow it down to just one thing. So I did use alot of Dies from Spellbinders but for me it totally did the job. My Gandma’s favorite color is blue and my Grandpas favorite ccolor is brown so I highlighted these colors with Bo Bunny paper and Want2Scrap pink pearls. Spellbinders has so many beautiful dies

With all thesnow that has melted and the Tulips starting to come out of the ground it makes me think its Tea Time! I am ready to have a party with my little ones and we love Tea Partys so I made a adorable card that I wanted to share with you.
