We received our first shipment of out of stock Nestabilities sets!! There isn’t much we could do today as they arrived so late, and tomorrow starts a three day weekend in the states. But I wanted to blog about it anyway in case there are a few of you who are not vacationing and are sitting around waiting for your next Nest update!

As they say…we got some good news and we got some bad news. The good news is we received Nest 01 Classic Oval Sets, Nest 02 Classic Squares Sets and Nest 03 Classic Rectangle Sets!! AND we have PLENTY of tan embossing mats to go with your Nest sets! The bad news is the boat that arrived did not have any Nest 05 Classic Circle Sets or Nest 07 Long Rectangle Sets. They are on a separate boat that should be arriving next week. As soon as I receive an ETA on those sets, I will let you know.

Spellbinders has been busy shipping out all the out of stock Nesties sets. They told me I had about ten orders shipped today - woohoo!! They ship UPS which takes three days. We checked with UPS and they will not be making any deliveries on Friday, as it is our nation’s Independence Day, so barring any natural disaster or UPS strike, we should have our shipment Monday afternoon. By Tuesday morning, we will be in shipping heaven!

Please remember I don’t have any way of knowing what sets and how many of the sets I will be getting. It will be like Christmas when we open those boxes - full of surprises! We will start shipping the oldest orders first, starting with May 1st and working our way forward. All four of us at CAH will stop what we are doing and ship as much as we can as fast as we can - I promise!! Shipping is the most important job here and we all pitch in to help on shipping day.

So call off the dogs, put away the bow and arrows, take me off your hit list. The Nesties are on their way!

The official word from Spellbinders is the slowboat has arrived! I should hear tomorrow when my orders will start shipping. I will post any news right here as soon as I know! I just received word from Spellbinders about the release of their new motorized die-cutting machine, the Xcalibur. For those of you who attended CHA in Anaheim, I hope you had a chance to see this baby in action! Sweeeet!! The intended release date was this fall. The release date has been pushed to the first quarter of 2009 because it will not be ready. They are working on keeping the quality and safety up, and keeping the price down, so it is taking a little longer to get all the kinks worked out. We will continue to take pre-orders for this fantastic machine through our pre-order button feature on our home page.

We have had tremendous response to our Spellbinders Specials and quickly ran out of a lot of the dies. Our apologies to those of you who ordered the dies and they were sold out before you placed your order. In case you didn’t know, we are not a fully automated website (but hope to be one day). This means we do all the work manually. We receive your orders, print them, process them, make coupon and shipping adjustments, pull the product, charge your card, package it, send the emails, and print the shipping label - all by hand! AND we make the changes on the website all manually. So when something is sold out, it may take us a few hours to remove it from the website. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you. We work hard and do the best we can, and I realize sometimes it just isn’t enough, and I am sorry.

I would really like to see more product reviews on the website. For those of you who have tried some of our products, and have had successes, please take a minute to write a review. All you have to do is click on the product and select the button that says “add review.”  Voila!! We also have a really cool Idea Gallery to post your creations.

I hope you all had a really great weekend! Summer is officially here in Utah and we have temperatures reaching three digits! Things have slowed down a little bit with all the kids home from school and people on summer vacations. So to heat things a bit, we are running some specials. We are continuing our sale on Boss Kut alphabets with the addition of two new ones - the best seller Blackjack and Monograms. We also have select 4×4 Rev dies on sale. I also received a discontinue list from Spellbinders, so I have quite a few dies on sale. Most of them I only have one die, so it is first come first serve. Make sure you check ALL the “specials” categories for Boss Kut, Spellbinders and Quickutz.

Don’t forget about the new Cuttlebug Embossing Folders in our pre-order section and let me know which ones you want. We have plenty of Swiss Dots and Birds & Swirls. The Large Rounder from EK Success is currently out of stock, and will be arriving shortly. The Scor-Pals are selling very well too! We only have a week left on our Inspired Craft Features Special. As for the Nestabilities shipping update, our sets are still navigating the high seas and still on course. They are due to arrive this Friday! As soon as we have our sets, we will start shipping where we left off in May. Remember, I don’t know what sets I am getting first and how many of each sets. The Nest 06 Petite Ovals Sets are gone so it is back to the wait list for those. I have quite a few of the S4113 Classic Scalloped Oval Small in stock ready to ship if you would like a really great looking oval.

Speaking of CB folders, the Swiss Dots and Birds & Swirls were shipped today from the warehouse and should arrive tomorrow. The Quickutz order should arrive tomorrow as well. We didn’t receive any orders at all today from Spellbinders. Tomorrow should be a BIG shipping day! June 27 is still the expected arrival date for the out of stock Nestabilities Sets.

For those of who are waiting for their Quickutz items, the order that was lost has now been found and should arrive Tuesday, June 17. We are not exactly sure what happened, but QK assures me they have found it and it is enroute. I am so sorry for the delay and we will ship your orders as soon as they arrive.

The slowboat from China is more like a rowboat. Maybe if we all got out and doggie paddled it would help! Spellbinders had hopes it would arrive Monday, June 16. However, it isn’t going to happen. The latest word is the Nesties will dock on Friday, June 27. We are still first in line for shipment and I have faith SB will keep their word and have my Nesties shipped by the end of the month. Cross your fingers!

In the meantime, check out all the Boss Kut dies I have on sale! I am sure you can find some great sales on our website to keep you happily scrappin’.

Good afternoon!

I spoke with Spellbinders and my Provocraft Distributor this afternoon.

Spellbinders: The slowboat still has not arrived, but they believe it is getting close. It should be docking the beginning of next week. As soon as it arrives, we will be one of the first Spellbinders ships to. Don’t forget we have orders to ship from May before we even start with June, so May will be shipped first. I am hoping the Acrylic Blocks, Fonts, Apron and some of the Geometrics are in that slowboat as well. Currently I have a limited number of the NEST 06 Petite Ovals Set available to ship.

Provocraft: The Swiss Dots and Birds & Twirls embossing folders are back in stock! My distributor is expecting his shipment either today or tomorrow, and he promised to ship mine the same day he received his. So we should be shipping those the middle of next week! Currently I have the following Cuttlebug Embossing Folders ready to ship: Allegro, Bloom Dots, Diamonds in the Rough, Divine Swirl, Flower Circle, Invitation, Script, Spots & Dots, Stylized Flowers, Thanks and Tiny Bubbles.

I also found out that Spellbinders is discontinuing a lot of their fonts. As soon as they know which ones, they will let me know. I will remove them from the website.

Speaking of fonts, make sure you look at the great deals I have on select Boss Kut fonts (more to come!). These fonts are equal in quality of Quickutz and work great in all the die cutting machines. If you ever have any questions on any Boss Kut dies, call Debbie at 800-874-7120 and she will gladly help you. These fonts are 50% off and a GREAT value!

I hope you all had a really great weekend and were able to put the “create” in recreate! I want to make sure all are aware of our sale June 10-12.

I am very excited about the sale on the Boss Kut alphas. If you follow my sales each week, you know I have NEVER had a sale on any Boss Kut items, so this is HUGE! For those of you who have been wanting to try Boss Kut, and were waiting for the right opportunity, THIS IS IT!!  I have three alphas on sale at 50% off and quite a few of the Expressable phrases. I didn’t hear from my Provocraft distributor about the out of stock Birds & Swirls and Swiss Dots Embossing Folders yet. They were scheduled to arrive Friday. I will call them tomorrow and see what I can find out.  If successful, I will return and report!
