I am the Cubmaster in our neighborhood and our Pinewood Derby is coming up so I thought that it would be nice to make a sign for the Scouts to take pictures in front of with their cars. I started looking through my stuff and found a wood grain stamp from Hero Arts and Heather found some paper for the car that had sparkly wood grain for the car from the Playtime Stack by Die Cuts with a View. I think that it turned out and it will make a fun backdrop for a lot of proud scouts holding their

Hey it’s Easter time and here is a cute layout using Quickutz. Every year we get together as a family and have a big Easter egg hunt in my parents backyard. A few years ago my grandpa came and it was a lot of fun because he was able to turn back the clock a little and be a little kid again. It was so much fun to see the smile on his face as he walked around the yard hunting for those Easter eggs. My grandpa is gone now and I am grateful for pictures to bring back some

I have a set that is a must have if you like to do hand made Valentine cards, Heartfelt Creations Timeless Amour. The set though that i am talking about is the die cut set with its coordinating pre-cut stamps and paper pack. There is really no end to what you can do and you can create so many different looks so that no one is the same. Heather and I both made one last night using the same set and they bit are very different even though we used the same set.
I really like the paper

Heather and I decided to do some card making with the Die Cuts With a View and My Mind’s Eye paper stacks this week. We have been invited to a lot of weddings lately so Heather wanted to make a few cards for them, so a few nights ago we put the kids to bed, threw in a movie, and made cards. Heather’s “Legacy Card” is very fancy and has a nice wedding feel to it with the ribbon, Vintage Lace Accents, and Spiral Blossom that she used. Heather loves the spiral blossom and it really makes for a nice

I am so thrilled to introduce the Decorative Lace Border Die! It is a custom Heartfelt Creations Die manufactured by Spellbinders. This die coordinates with the Wedding Collection stamps. This die has more intricate details, so if you have a “loose” machine, you will have to cut a couple times. You will need to run it through your machine and cut once and then turn it 90 degrees and cut again.
I actually ran it 3-4 times through my Cuttlebug Machine then turned it before running it through 3-4 more times just to make sure! It is well worth the extra

I appreciate when customers email with questions concerning products that I can use on our Blog! One of our customers asked today for ideas using Spellbinders Borderabilities Dies. She also asked if she could use the 12″ Borderabilities Grand in her Cuttlebug Machine even though she did not have the Extended Cutting Mats.
Yes! You can use the 12″ Grand Dies with standard plates if you are just needing a portion for a card or something short! Just make sure that you don’t bend the die where it is hanging over the edge!
If you do have the extended plates, you can

Okay, so I have to share with you this incredibly fun idea that one of our local customers shared with me today! Using the Heartfelt Creations exclusive Spellbinders Die- Daisy Patch and her die cutting machine, she has made these adorable hair bows out of soda cans! Amazingly, the cans do not dull the dies and are not sharp once the shapes have been cut! Awesome!
Laura started her hair bow business only 3 weeks ago and her hair bows have literally blossomed on Facebook! She is a stay at home mom who also runs a daycare out of her home!

It is crunch time to get you gifts done for Mother’s Day if you haven’t already! Here’s an idea for a card box if your mom likes cards, but needs a place to store them, or you can fill the box with pre-made cards for her to use when needed! Of course I used roses, because that is what mom’s like! Right?
The paper I used for my tin box is the Rustic Paper Stack from DCWV ( It is an exclusive to JoAnn Stores), and the Shimmer Stack for the roses. To cut the roses I used QuicKutz Roses die.

Today I want to show you the adorable new QuicKutz Whirlpool Alphabet! I have a weakness for swirls! The more swirly the better as far as I am concerned! This alphabet is so dang cute! You get 65 dies in upper and lower case letters, numbers and punctuation! The letters are approximately 1″ tall and come in strands held together with the tiny tabs that I mentioned yesterday with the Blue Sky Alphabet. This is the same with the new Carousel and Handmade Alphabets. I used my Cuttlebug with my extended 6 x 13″ Cutting Mats to cut a bunch
