Shipping Policy Cut@Home is located in the epicenter of the crafting industry - Utah! We are a small, (yet fast growing!) family owned company nestled in the beautiful Wasatch Mountains southeast of Salt Lake City. We are open Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, MST. We answer all emails within 24 business hours. Se habla Espanol! RETURNS: All returns must be in original package and unused. A store credit will be issued to be used within 30 days. We do not reimburse for postage. A 25% restocking fee applies to some items. Special orders are nonrefundable. SHIPPING: We ship from Sandy, Utah, USA, by USPS or DHL. We ask that customers allow 2-14 days for shipping. This varies due to product availability. The inventory we have onsite varies, and ships within 24-48 hours. If the inventory is not onsite, we can usually rely on our manufacturers to ship the product to us in 3-7 days. We will ship it to you as soon as we have it. If it is not shipping in 48 hours, then we are waiting for our product to arrive from the manufacturer. Please note we are not responsible for a product being back ordered by the manufacturer. Back orders can take anywhere between 1-4 weeks. The back order status can be found in the product description, the subcategory description and our blog. Out of stock items can take up to three months. Even though you can shop our store 24/7, please remember our manufacturers are only open during normal business hours Monday-Friday. If one or more of the items in your order are awaiting shipment, we will wait for all the items to arrive before shipping. We will only split the shipment unless requested. We do not pay for any additional shipping costs if you choose to split your shipment. If you would like an estimate on how much more it would cost to split your shipment, please contact our office. Our website will give you an estimate at checkout on what the shipping rate will be. We look at the shipping charges on each order individually to see if the cost has been estimated correctly. If we know your products will fit in a USPS flat rate envelope, we will adjust your shipping to reflect the correct price when your order is processed. If your products need to be shipped in a box, we will wait until it is packaged, so we have the exact weight and size of box. The correct shipping amount will be reflected in your order history in your account and in the packing slip with your product. Cut@Home is not responsible for any lost, misplaced, stolen or damaged orders. Once it leaves our office, it is in the hands of the carrier. Any claims made are the responsibility of the customer. We do not insure our shipments or ship anything with delivery confirmation. You have the option to purchase these if you would like. Please make a note in the order comments section if you would like to do so. Cut@Home reserves the right to ship your order at the safest and cheapest rate possible. DOMESTIC RATES: We ship what we can in a USPS flat rate envelope for $6.30. If your order needs to be shipped in a box, we will ship it by USPS flat rate box for $10.80 or Priority. For heavier items (like machines) we have found DHL to have the best rates. DHL charges by size and weight. These prices include a handling cost on each order of $1.50 to cover the cost of the box, tape, packing materials, labels, paper, etc., plus the gas to drive to the post office. We hand deliver each order to the post office to assure proper delivery. Any customer is welcome to pick up their order and save on shipping costs. Please make note of it in the order comments section. INTERNATIONAL RATES: The USPS only quotes rates for priority mail. The shipping is manually adjusted after our order is submitted. We ship what we can in a USPS flat rate envelope for $12.86. Shipping to Canada in a USPS flat rate envelope is $10.96. If your order needs to be shipped in a box, we will use what is available for your country through the USPS. Shipping costs are determined by weight and size of box. Most boxes can be shipped between $28.50 and $33.00. Die-cutting machines weigh more and can cost up to $50.00 or more. Cut@Home abides by all national and international laws. We do not pay Customs, Duties or VAT on any product purchased through our website. These charges are not included in the price of our products. It is the sole responsibility of the customer to find out the laws in your own country and to pay all custom charges, duties or VAT. We will not falsify the customs document. To keep shipping costs down we suggest you try and keep your product small enough to fit in a flat rate envelope. Sometimes multiple orders are cheaper than paying the duty and shipping on one big order. If you plan on visiting the United States you may also have your item shipped to a proper U.S. address. Please allow plenty of time for shipping. We suggest you place your order 1-2 months before you are due to arrive. |
