Our MAIN REASON behind creating an "About Us" page is to let customers learn a little more about our company and about us. We all know how great it is to shop online for scrapbooking supplies or anything else for that matter. One of the downfalls to being an online store is we do not get to physically greet every customer that comes through our store. So through our welcome video on our home page, the "About Us" page, our "Blog" and friendly customer service reps, we hope you will feel comfortable and have an enjoyable experience shopping with us. Thanks for visiting www.cutathome.com!

BRIEF COMPANY HISTORY:
Cut@Home is located in the epicenter of the crafting industry - Utah! We are a fast growing family owned company nestled in the beautiful Wasatch Mountains southeast of Salt Lake City. Cut@Home was founded in 2002 as an informative website about Scrapbook Dies, then became a retail store shortly thereafter because of customer interest to purchase the dies we were spotlighting. With the creation of nesting dies, embossing folders, and newly designed universal die cutting & embossing machines, Cut@Home quickly became the largest die cutting & card making supplies store online providing ALL brands of dies and die-cutting machines.  We quickly realized our customers were wanting paper and embellishments to go with their dies and added a good selection of those products as well. We then added rubber stamps due to the increasing demand for stamps to match your dies.

In 2008 Cut@Home was awarded by Spellbinders Paper Arts the "Spellbinders Web Retailer of the Year".  In 2009 Quickutz Inc. (now known as Lifestyle Crafts) made Cut@Home an "UpperKutz Platinum member". In 2014 Cut@Home was named the Best Online Scrapbooking Store for the state of Utah.

We specialize in carrying only the best Die Cutting Machines, Dies, Embossing Folders, Card Making Supplies, Scrapbook Embellishments, Rubber Stamps, and unique Scrapbook Paper Pads on the market! With more than 6000 products, we are committed to bringing you the best in online shopping and the best in customer service. NAME: Marcie
Google Plus Profile: http://gplus.name/scrapbookinggirl

BACKGROUND: I am blessed to be married to the love of my life, my husband Ron, who is my biggest cheerleader. My idea of a good time is hanging out with Ron, my sons and daughters, and spoiling my grandchildren. My family is the biggest blessing in my life. A home body at heart, I enjoy reading and doing home improvements. I enjoy living in Sandy, Utah which is at the base of the Wasatch Mountains. I do feel the lure of the sea calling my name, so Ron and I are looking to buy a second home on the beach in Southern California. When I feel like getting out a bit, Ron and I enjoy traveling together, dinner, art, the theater and live music - all things beautiful! Originally from the east coast, I have spent the last 30 years in "western" civilization and love it! I am also a partner in another craft company, Ammees Babies, which sells ready to crochet hemstitiched baby blanket kits. We have just launched our own craft company, Angel Crafts and a baby line, Angel Baby.

POSITION IN COMPANY & DUTIES: It is my privilege to have the best business partners on earth - my oldest son Dustin and his wife Janeth. Along with being a co-owner, I am in charge of operations, which include buying and managing all the products, vendor relations, website management and am basically the eyes and ears of Cut@Home. I have been involved in many different areas of business, and I can honestly say having a family business is the best time in business I have ever had.  We are currently in our seventh year of owning and operating Cut@Home and are looking forward to many more years in the crafting industry!

NAME: Dustin & Janeth
Google Plus Profile:

BACKGROUND: Janeth and I currently reside in Draper, Utah and love living close to the mountains. We have been married for nine years and have three daughters, Shaylee, Alyee and Kylee who bring us lots of joy and happiness.  Although keeping our daughters entertained take up most of our time, we like to go out to dinner, visit Mexico (Janeth's parents live there), exercise, and hang out with family. We also love doing service in our church and community. I had the great opportunity to do a service mission for 2 years in La Paz, Bolivia. Janeth served in a program called the "Perpetual Education Fund" that helps individuals get funding to go to college. Janeth graduated from Brigham Young University in Family Home Living Sciences and I graduated from the University of Utah in Exercise & Sports Science. So you could say we are rivals for those of you who know UTAH vs BYU rivalry! Upon graduation my mom, Janeth and I all had difficulty finding employment. My mom was single with 3 boys still at home and Janeth and I were recently married with no money. It was then that we decided to have a family business and purchased Cut@Home. We have never looked back!  We never imagined owning a online scrapbooking company, and it has been quite the experience. We have grown to admire and love working in the crafting industry. In fact Janeth has started her own crafting videos channel called Crazy Manualidades and blog where she does different crafts in Spanish! Some say they could never work with family, but WE LOVE IT! Together with my mom, Marcie, and her husband, Ron, we have started two new retail stores: Angel Crafts and Angel Baby.

POSITION IN COMPANY & DUTIES: Co-Owners and Partners with Marcie. Janeth now works part-time for Cut@Home as she has her dream job of being a full-time mother. She comes to the office to visit and help out on occasion with operations and shipping. My duties in the company are a bit random as I like to do a little of everything. I take care of the website maintenance, search engine optimization & advertising, and, my personal favorite, implementing strategies for company growth.

As long as I can remember there has been a project (or two or three!) that I am working on. I am a Certified Intermediate Copic Designer teaching participants how to effectively use their markers. For a number of years I have taught classes including counted thread embroidery (linen work and specialty stitches), soft sculpture and knitting. Being retired gives me the luxury of spending more of my time in the craft world.

NAME: Patti

BACKGROUND: Originally from Longview, Washington U.S., my husband and I now live in the sunny desert of Washington City, Utah. I have three grown children and five grandchildren. When I moved to California in 2002 I became interested in photography and graphic arts programs like Paint Shop Pro and later Photo Shop.  Having Grandchildren, and receiving numerous photos of them, I wanted a way to preserve them and the memories the photos carried with them. So I began to do Digital Scrapbooking.  As time progressed, I eventually became a designer. It was a fun, growing time for my creative side. While on vacation in Arizona, I met a Designer who was an avid all around crafter, using paper, digital and lots of other mediums as well.  Before our visit ended she sent a shopping bag home filled with paper, stamps, bling, stickers and inks. That was the seed. I started designing homemade cards. Cards evolved into mini albums, which evolved into altered art, which now I'm hoping will some day evolve into art journaling.

POSITION IN COMPANY & DUTIES: Designer/Blogger. I joined the Cut@Home team in August 2013. My inspiration comes from family and friends.  With so many in my circle there is always an event like a new baby, a graduation, a wedding or a birthday cropping up. I enjoy making and giving so new graduates and married couples usually get a mini albums.  Family and friends receive greeting cards on their special days.  My grandkids have received 'Books of Me' and Special occasion books. It's a passion, an addiction, a way to grow and share my creative side with family and friends.

I started making YouTube videos about 4 years ago and love sharing my creative process, and meeting new friends along the way. I have been creative all my life, and love all types of mediums. NAME: Karen

BACKGROUND: I'm a California girl, through and through. Like...totally. Born in Southern California, my family moved to Northern California when I was 9.  I love it here. I'm a second-time-around-happily married mother of four boys. Two are mine; two are his. They are all 20 and 21 (set of twins in there).  They make life crazy and wonderful, and I'm super proud of them. My hubby and I grew up around the corner from each other, but we never met until we were in our 40's on an online dating site. When we married, our boys were all pre-teens and living with us full-time. Yes, we're nuts! They are turning into such fabulous men; I couldn't be prouder of my family. I started scrapbooking when my oldest was born, and I've been hooked on paper crafts since then. I craft mostly cards, but I'm also an avid scrapbooker and have dabbled in mixed media, altered art and home decor. During the day, I manage the arts departments at a local university.  That can be super stressful, but all that stress melts away when I have paper and scissors in my hands!

POSITION IN COMPANY & DUTIES: Designer/Blogger. I joined the Cut@Home DT in August 2014 am super excited about being part of this creative team!
