Cut@Home is located in the epicenter of the crafting industry - Utah! We are a small, (yet fast growing!) family owned company nestled in the beautiful Wasatch Mountains southeast of Salt Lake City. We ship from Sandy, Utah, USA, by USPS or UPS. Our shipping center is NOT a profit center and we offer the best possible shipping rates with a minimum handling fee. Cut@Home does not use USPS Deferred service, which most companies do. We only use USPS Expedited Services. We ask that customers allow 2-14 days for shipping. This varies due to product availability. The inventory we have on site varies, and ships within 24-48 hours. If the inventory is not on site, we can usually rely on our manufacturers to ship the product to us in 7-14 days. PLEASE NOTE
: please allow additional shipping time for the months of November and December for the holiday rush and for the busy CHA months. We will ship it to you as soon as we have it. If it is not shipping in 48 hours, then we are waiting for our product to arrive from the manufacturer. We do not accept pre-paid postage.
We regret to inform you that Cut@Home is not responsible and will not replace any orders that are lost, misplaced, stolen or damaged. However, in certain cases if approved by manager we may be able to replace a damaged item depending on the circumstances. Your tracking number is proof your package was shipped.
Article 2 of the U.C.C (Uniform Commercial Code) states when a product is sold and put into the hands of the shipper, the title and risk of loss is passed to the buyer. Our responsibility ends when the product is boxed and shipped or given to USPS, UPS, etc. Therefore complaints of missing packages is a shipper problem, not a seller problem and any complaints should be registered against the shipper, not the seller.
Any claims made are the responsibility of the customer. We do not insure our shipments or ship anything with delivery confirmation. You have the option to purchase these if you would like.
Please make a note in the order comments section if you would like to do so. While we have a very high success rate of packages being delivered safely, there is always an element of risk when ordering anything through the mail. We do not require signatures upon delivery, so if you would like to purchase this option, please make a note in the order comments section. By placing your order with us you are assuming this risk and will not hold Cut@Home liable should your package not arrive. We do not accept postage due items. Tracking numbers are supplied with most shipping notices. For our International customers
: Although USPS does provide tracking numbers, please be aware your package is only tracked to the U.S border. USPS will not track your package overseas unless you choose to ship your order by Express.
Unfortunately, our shipping department does not have the capability to manage special handling instructions for your postal carrier, i.e. "leave on front steps" etc.
Due to increasing credit card fraud liability, we cannot honor requests to ship items to an address or person different from the billing address on your credit card. If you would like your order shipped to a different address, payment must be made in the form of a Money Order, Cashiers Check or PayPal invoice. A PayPal invoice must be approved by our store manager.
NOTE: Cut@Home reserves the right to ship your order at the safest and cheapest rate possible.
If your order exceeds $200.00 and/or you have special order items, we may require a wire transfer, money order or PayPal invoice.BACK ORDERS
: we are not responsible for a product being back ordered by the manufacturer or for out of stock and discontinued product. Back orders can take anywhere between 1-12 weeks. Most back order status can be found in the product description, the subcategory description and/or our blog. Not all product that is back ordered is listed on the site as such as it is impossible to keep track of everything our manufacturer's back order. Customers have the option of removing any back ordered products from their existing order, replacing it with another item or waiting for the product to arrive. If a product is delayed longer than expected, Cut@Home reserves the right to remove the item from your order and request that you place it on a separate order. Customers can request that the order be split shipped, however, the customer is responsible for any increase in shipping if applicable.
We ship what we can in a USPS flat rate envelope for $6.75. For heavier items (like machines) we have found UPS to have the best rates. These prices include a handling cost on each order of $1.50 to cover the cost of the box, tape, packing materials, labels, paper, etc., plus the gas to drive to the post office. We will ship MOST orders first class for $3.50 if your order weighs 12 ounces or less. However, due to certain dimensions of products that are under 12 ounces you may be quoted higher than $3.50. This only applies for orders in the continental United States and if your item does not have to be packaged in a box. Die Cuts & Rubber Stamps
Even if you combine different dies from different vendors it should give you an idea of how many can fit in a 1st class envelope, flat rate envelope, and flat rate box by USPS.
First Class - 4 dies for $3.50-$4.00 ($4.00 if a bigz die is ordered) up to .75 lbs
Flat Rate - 8-10 dies for $6.75 up to 1.50 lbs
Priority or UPS - depends on weight and you choose on checkout

INT Flat Rate - 8-10 dies for $19.95 up to 1.5 lbs

Shipping costs are determined by weight and size of box. Most boxes can be shipped between $40.00 and $50.00. Die-cutting machines weigh more and can cost up to $100.00 or more. To keep shipping costs down we suggest you try and keep your productrnsmall enough to fit in a flat rate envelope. Sometimes multiple ordersrnare cheaper than paying the duty and shipping on one big order.rnPlease note the shipping on all international orders may be an estimate only. Sometimes we are unable to fit everything you ordered in a flat rate envelope even though that is the quote the website gave you. If this happens we will inform you of the adjustment to your shipping costs. Ifrnyou plan on visiting the United States you may also have your itemrnshipped to a proper U.S. address. Please allow plenty of time forrnshipping. We suggest you place your order 1-2 months before you are duernto arrive. International orders can take from 4-6 weeks to arrive, although our experience has shown it is usually two weeks. If it has been over three weeks and your package has still not arrived, please check with your local customs office. It may be held up in Customs and they have been trying to contact you. It can take up to three months for your order to be returned to us by USPS.

We welcome you and are excited to be able to provide you with the same deals as our domestic customers. Cut@Home abides by all national and international laws. We DO NOT pay Customs, Duties or VAT on any product purchased through our website. These charges are not included in the USD price of our products. All our prices are listed in foreign currencies for viewing ONLY so that you do not have to use another resource to calculate the cost of your purchase in your local currency. However, once you proceed to the "checkout page" for final review and to submit payment for your order, the total will be in U.S. dollars. All major credit cards are accepted. We do not accept phone orders and some international orders from select countries may require cash payment prior to shipping in the form of a wire transfer or money order in U.S. currency.
